Creating Historic Reports

Historic Reports in Koku allow you to analyze your spending or income trends over time. Let's create a custom historic report...

  1. From the Add menu select New Report...
    New Report

  2. Choose Historic Report from the drop down then click Continue.

  3. Enter a name for your report.

  4. Select the account you would like included in your report.

  5. You can choose a preset date range, or create your own custom date range by selecting Custom...

    Choose your desired start and end date and then click Done.

  6. Select the time unit breakdown you would like to see for your report.

  7. Choose the type of transactions to include in your report. Selecting Deposit/Credit will show money flowing into your accounts (income), while Withdrawal/Debit will show money flowing out of your accounts (spending).

  8. You can also select whether or not to include transfers in your report. Since transfers typically involve simply moving money from one account to another, this is typically not included in reports.

  9. The Grouping option provides the option to create a series report by grouping your spending or income into categories based on their tags. This feature is covered in our advanced features page.

  10. When you are finished editing, click Done. Your custom report has been created!
