Creating Distribution Reports
Distribution Reports in Koku allow you to analyze how you spend and earn money by grouping your transactions according to their tags. To achieve the best results, we recommend you review the smart tagging features in Koku.
Let's create a custom distribution report...

From the add menu select New Report...

Choose Distribution Report from the drop down then click Continue.

Enter a name for your report.

Select the account you would like included in your report.

You can choose a preset date range, or create your own custom date range by selecting Custom...

Choose your desired start and end date and then click Done.

Choose the type of transactions to include in your report. Selecting Deposit/Credit will show money flowing into your accounts (income), while Withdrawal/Debit will show money flowing out of your accounts (spending).

You can also select whether or not to include transfers in your report. Since transfers typically involve simply moving money from one account to another, this is typically not included in reports.

Select whether or not to include untagged transactions in the report. These will be grouped in the Remaining category.

The Tags option by default will show all tags in your report. For information on restricting the tags to be included in your report, please see our advanced features page.

When you are finished editing, click Done. Your custom report has been created!
